Draft — requires professional legal review before public launch

Privacy Policy

What personal data we collect, why, and your rights.

Data we collect

Account data: email address, username, password (stored hashed), region, profile picture and biography.

Trading data: card listings and photographs, wishlists, offers, trade records, messages, inspection records, postage and tracking details, reports and reviews.

Postal addresses, private messages and reports are treated as private personal data.

How we use it

To operate your account and binder, to match you with other traders, to record trades, to protect members from fraud and abuse, and to comply with legal obligations.

We never display your address or email address publicly. Your address is released only to the other trader inside a confirmed trade, so that postage can be arranged.

Retention

Messages and records connected to an active or disputed trade are retained under our safety policy and are not silently altered.

You may delete your account at any time from Account & privacy settings. Trade records required for dispute handling and legal obligations may be retained in a minimised form.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may export your data from your settings page.

You may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you believe your data has been handled unlawfully.

Binder to Binder is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, Creatures Inc., Game Freak, eBay, Cardmarket, TCGplayer, TCGdex or any card grading company. Card data is used under the terms of the open sources it comes from, price figures are market references rather than valuations, and all trade marks belong to their respective owners. Trading carries risk and members must be 18 or over. Recording a video inspection requires the clear consent of both participants.
