Card Condition Guide
How we describe raw card condition on Binder to Binder.
Raw conditions
Mint — as close to perfect as a pack-fresh card gets; no visible wear under a bright light.
Near Mint — minimal handling wear; perhaps one tiny surface or edge imperfection.
Excellent — light wear on edges or corners, surface still clean.
Good — noticeable edge or corner wear, possibly light surface scratching.
Lightly Played — clear wear, small nicks or whitening, no structural damage.
Played — heavy wear, whitening, scratches or minor creasing.
Poor — significant creasing, water damage, tears or writing.
Graded cards
For graded cards, record the grading company and the grade exactly as printed on the slab, and photograph the label and the slab.
